When I first began my photography journey as a high school student, I immediately had a passion for creative portraiture. I utilized this interest to create memorable senior photos for other students. My goal was to capture their true personalities, instead of the traditional gallery.
As a college student, I gained access to resources that allowed me to truly explore the possibilities when working with others. My assignments motivated me to visually capture both simple and complex concepts, as well as manipulate technical rules and skills to make images more interesting. I used these boundaries to push my creativity and ideas further.

In the future, I hope to use alternative portraiture to capture artists own artistic ideas. By collaborating with other artists I hope to portray ideas that are impactful and relatable to a wider audience.
